CHICAGO — Lollapalooza promoters will spend $236,000 to fix Grant Park—a lot less than it paid in previous years.

The grass ends up in bad shape after the three-day festival every August.

Storms came through on the final day this year.

The president of the Grant Park Conservancy says lack of rain helped lessen the damage.

Restoration work is already underway and will continue through September.

The Park District says some areas of Grant Park will be sectioned off, but won't disrupt scheduled activities.
