OAK BROOK, Ill. – The way you order food at McDonald’s might change soon.

The company is testing table service at 50 of their restaurants.

Instead of ordering at a counter, customers would place orders on a kiosk before sitting down.

An employee then delivers the food to your table.

If the testing period is successful the fast-food chain plans on using the new, dine-in process at over 14,000 stores in the United States.

McDonald’s officials say the kiosk also allows visitors to customize orders.

It’s all part of an effort by the restaurant to improve customers’ experience as sales continue to drop.
