NEW YORK — After more than 16 years, Jon Stewart is saying farewell to The Daily Show – but not without some famous friends.

The final episode of the Daily Show had its fair share of surprises and cameos from long-time Daily Show correspondents, including Lewis Black, Samantha Bee, Oscar nominee Steve Carell, John Oliver, and new late show host Stephen Colbert.

Even politicians who have been his targets over the years got a chance to say goodbye.

In the end, Jon got the final word, saying goodbye and then getting a big, New Jersey style send off.

Bruce Springsteen and the E-Street Band played “Born To Run” and “Land of Hopes and Dreams” as Stewart, his wife, kids and the cast and crew danced along.
