Window washer critical after fall at Northwestern Memorial Hospital

CHICAGO -- A window washer fell from the sixth or seventh floor of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in the 200 block of Huron.

It happened at about 8 a.m. Wednesday. He is now in critical condition at Northwestern.  His injuries reportedly include two broken legs.

Another window washer tells WGN the injured man is in his 30's and that the team of washers he was working with was almost finished when he fell.

The accident is under investigation.
