CHICAGO -- Fifteen people, including a 7-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl, have been shot in Chicago since Sunday afternoon.

The 7-year-old and a 19-year-old man were inside a car in the 2500 Block of North Parkside when another vehicle pulled up and someone inside opened fire.  The boy was hit in the shoulder and the man was grazed in the head.

The man drove to Community First Hospital and the boy was transferred to Children's Hospital. Their conditions have stabilized. Detectives on the case said they think the shooting was gang-related.

A 5-year-old girl was shot and seriously wounded last night in the West Englewood neighborhood.  The shooting happened around 8:40 p.m. on 56th and Bishop.  The young girl was shot in the leg and taken to the hospital in serious condition.
