Rescuers find body of Illinois woman who went missing in Lake Michigan

PORTER BEACH, Ind. -- Rescuers have found the body of a 20-year-old suburban woman who went missing in Lake Michigan.

According to the Post-Tribune, crews found the body of Chase Froese, who disappeared Friday evening while swimming off Porter Beach in Indiana.

She was with two other people at the time of her disappearance. When the friends began to struggle, the other two women were able to be pulled to safety.

The search had resumed shortly after 6 a.m. Saturday.

Rescuers found Froese's body Sunday afternoon.
