CHICAGO -- More storms could hit the Chicago area Sunday evening and night after the city first experienced brief storms during the afternoon.
An initial round of storms struck Chicagoland shortly before 3 p.m., evacuating Lollapalooza and causing a tent in Wood Dale, Ill., to collapse, killing one and injuring more than a dozen others.
A Severe Thunderstorm Warning had been in effect for Cook County until 3 p.m.
Temperatures have reached the 90s in some spots Sunday. They are expected to drop to the 80s for the rest of the week.
