Lunchtime at Lolla: Publican’s portable festival fare

Ok, so you’re Saturday afternoon Lolla bucket list consists of Tyler, The Creator, Elle King, Walk the Moon and Tame Impala.  There’s about a mile in between the stages and no time to waste – jsut one problem, you’re starving.  Never fear:  Publican Quality Meats is here.
For the first time actually.  And lucky for you, their debut includes three thoughtful, extremely delicious and highly portable sausages.
“We want this  to be the best brat you have ever had,” says  chef Chris Miller. “And you don’t have to find a table to eat it.”
Good.  Because there is no time for tables.  There is only time for rock.
Chris calls the Jalapeno Cheddar Brat the “crowd pleaser.”  It’s backup band is dijon mustard and sauerkraut.  Also headlining their lineup, Andouille Sausage served with warm honey mustard coleslaw.   “It epitomizes festival food,” Miller says.
Sharing the spotlight with these two rockstars is the Beer Brat with whole grain mustard and white onion. Beer is in the sausage, beer has surrounded the sausage (in a steam bath).
And speaking of being surrounded by beer in a steamy situation, you’ve got that band to catch on the South Lawn.
