NEW YORK - One of the busiest airports in the nation is getting rebuilt next year.
LaGuardia Airport will double in size.
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the overhaul
Vice President Joe Biden called it a "Third World" experience during a speech last year, noting that the airport was cramped and outdated.
The project is estimated to cost $4-billion.
Improvements will make the airport easier to access and easier to move around.
Construction begins next year and will take about five years to complete. Once finished LaGuardia will double in size.
