HEMPSTEAD, Texas — Texas authorities are releasing more video of Sandra Bland during her three days in jail.

Waller County Judge Trey Duhon said Tuesday that several hours of jail footage is being distributed to the media, partially in response to conspiracy theories about her death. He says these allegations have prompted death threats against county officials and that the most serious have been turned over to the FBI.

The first portions of footage show Bland being taken out of a patrol car at the jail and questioned by a jailer. She's then briefly placed in a holding cell before her mugshot is taken and she makes a phone call.

Bland was found dead in her cell July 13, three days after her arrest. Authorities have ruled the death a suicide.

You are ignorant… But if this was one of your family members or somebody u loved or if it was youuu!!!! You would want to do this same thing or somebody that loved you would want justice and to investigate wat really happened also…

  • Nicole

I don’t understand what the point is of these particular videos. These do not prove OR disprove anything – except any speculation of mistreatment as she was brought in and booking process.

People were trying to say she already dead in her mugshot, they had to release it because of that.

Regardless of that rumor this lady was very clearly falsely arrested because she knew her rights but wasn’t an affluent white person. Whether dead by her own hands or not that cop is responsible for her death, not manslaughter by any means…but certainly enough to be stripped of his badge!

Wow her on phone proves her family is lying they knew where she was and bondsman talked to her mother! She committed suicide due to humiliation! ! If I had all her legal drama I would have said yes sir took my warning and kept it moving! Her big mouth wrote a $500 check her broke fam couldn’t cash! Glad I hired an excellent black lawyer when I was arrested aT Ohio State. No bail everything dropped! Even my militant daughter keeps thanking me for having the funds to bail her dramatic behind! Hahaha

Oh shut up. Officer arrested her for resisting wrongful arrest and she only stood up for herself like people need to however it played out. She’s dead now because the officer assaulted her and brought her to jail over her expressing and sticking up for her rights.

@Chris you sound childish but I’ll bite. Most people egging on her ignorant behavior can’t handle the results of keeping it real and would have been crying in jail like her! ! Better ways to handle what I’ve dealt with “Make my day” police! She was a loose canon with serious legal drama! Now make sure your fam have bail for your ignorant behavior……

You’re ignorant. Wrong is wrong and she should have never been arrested in the first place. Period.

  • Cynthia

It’s funny how her outfit changed she had a skirt and blk top on in the dash cam but have a different outfit at jail……lies

  • Max

Where is the video from the 2nd cops dash cam? The 1st was the arresting idiot and I’ve seen the 3rd. So where is the female officer’s video?

  • Scott

Her death is her own fault. She should have used her turn signal and followed the police officer’s directions.

    • me

Failure to use a turn signal is punishable by death????? What planet do you live on because that is GROSSLY incorrect!

      • Scott

Had she used her signal, she wouldn’t have been stopped. Had she followed directions, she probably would have been on her way with a ticket. I didn’t say it was punishable by death. It’s all about avoiding the situation in the first place.
