LEHI, Utah – A man in Utah turned his part-time job into a world record.
Jeremy Telford started making balloon animals as a way to put himself through college.
“By the time I got my degree, I loved it too much to stop,” said Telford.
In addition to making it a career, Telford wanted to turn it into a Guinness World Record.
Telford says, “There’s something about creating something just so huge that when somebody comes in, their jaw kind of drops.”
After a week of 15-hour days, Telford earned the title of largest balloon sculpture by an individual.
Telford used 8,867 balloons to create a 65 ft. by 32 ft. wiener dog, earning him a Guinness World Record title.
