St. Charles police seek help in search for missing girl

ST. CHARLES, Ill. — Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a 14-year-old suburban girl who went missing on Wednesday night.

Emily Czajkowski was last seen leaving the Pottawotomie Community Center in St. Charles, Ill. She was supposed to go to dance class, but police say she never went.

According to police she posted on social media about hurting herself after she disappeared. That post was quickly deleted.

Those with information about Emily’s whereabouts should call St. Charles police at 630-377-4435.

    Odd as it might sound, the details of this story make it more likely she’s still alive. It seems to be a situation of her creation rather than of some outside person’s creation. Hope she gets found and returned safe, and that there’s no creepy adult involved.

    You never know if someone posted those comments on her trying to make us think its her so we don’t know at this point — praying that she is found soon – I saw it posted in Elburn yesterday.
