    The information on “what to do if you get pulled over” has both good and bad information. First, if an officer asks the driver to put out a cigarette it very well could be because the officer sees it as a possible weapon. If you have ever been burned then you too would agree. Second, you are not a “victim” because you are on a traffic stop. However, the only good information given was for the driver to ask if he or she is free to leave.
