ST. CHARLES, Ill. — Singer and actor Donnie Wahlberg and his wife, actress and autism activist Jenny McCarthy, are moving to St. Charles, and chronicling the move on their A&E network reality show, “Donnie Loves Jenny.”

“I would move into a ditch with Jenny if she wanted me to,” Wahlberg said on last week’s episode.

McCarthy has roots in the Chicago area. She grew up in south suburban Evergreen Park and the southwest side of Chicago. She and Wahlberg also got married in St. Charles in August 2014 but have been living in New York.

“I love the Midwest,” McCarthy told viewers during the show’s second season premiere episode. “The fact that we’re now packing up and moving back feels like this dream come true.”
