CHICAGO — Will the much talked about Chief Keef concert go on after all?
Earlier this week, City Hall officials asked an East Pilsen theater not to allow a benefit concert by the controversial rapper who was supposed to appear by hologram.
On Wednesday morning, Keef posted a video message to his Instagram account that says, “Banned by the Chicago mayor, Chief Keef, from a secret Chicago location, live via hologram, collecting for charity. Stop the violence now. Saturday, July 25 at 8 p.m. Pacific. Only on filmon.com.
The concert was supposed to be a benefit for 13-month-old Dillan Harris, who was killed after his stroller was hit by a car after the shooting of a friend of Keef.
