We’ve shown you quite a collection of lightning shots over the years–but this is definitely one of the most interesting! The creation of Trevor Mahlman of Valparaiso, IN, it appears to be a very unique composite of lightning over a period of time Friday night. Trevor is an aerospace engineering student at Purdue University and hopes to become an astronaut. The spectacular lightning associated with the thunderstorms which swept the greater Chicago area Friday evening and night caught his attention and he forwarded us this shot. Thank you, Trevor–and good luck with your studies and your dream of becoming an astronaut. What an interesting choice for a career! Please keep us posted and THANK YOU once again for this spellbinding shot!
