CAMERON, Ill. -- Tornadoes tore through several northwestern Illinois communities.

Now, Governor Rauner has set up an emergency command center to get relief to the storm victims.

Some of the worst damage was in the Warren County town of Cameron, population 600.

Power poles were blown over Thursday, and police are refusing to let visitors into the town.

No serious injuries have been reported, just property damage.

Severe weather also hit Monmouth.

Most of the town is without electricity.

The National Weather Service says it will send survey teams to determine the number and strength of any tornadoes that may have hit.
