CHICAGO -- Not so long ago, in a galaxy not so far away, there lives a remarkable boy who is destined to become a mighty, strong man. And he has an army of supporters who are there with him every step of the way.

His name is Nathan Dobush, and the force is strong within him.

Nathan is now cancer free. He was first diagnosed with leukemia since in July of 2014. His mom remembers it all too well all while being pregnant with Nathan's little brother at the time.

A unique event this year is being held on the last Saturday in July at Saint Xavier University, where firefighters help children with cancer throughout our community and across the nation as they compete in physically oriented challenges and raise money for the cause.

This year more than 60 fire departments from the Midwest are invited to team up for an important cause. Even some departments from the Boston area are competing this year for a coveted trophy.
