BRISTOW, Okla. — Federal authorities are looking for a man they say pretended to be an armored truck driver, making away with $75,000 after he conned Walmart employees in Oklahoma into giving him the money.

Newson6 reports federal authorities have joined the investigation given the sum of money taken after surveillance video showed a man wearing a bulletproof vest and gun inside a Wal-Mart in Bristow, Okla.

Authorities said the man told employees he was there to pick up cash for Loomis Armored. He then left with about $75,000, according to the report.

The employees didn’t realize the mistake until the real Loomis Armored truck came 30 minutes later, according to Newson6.

Police say the suspect could be a former Walmart or Loomis employee. He was driving an all-black Chevrolet Malibu at the time of the heist.
