CHICAGO - Two 17-year-old girls were taken to the hospital Saturday morning after they were hit by a car in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood.

Police say the teens were in a Honda Accord that was chasing a Toyota sedan near Logan and Troy around 2:00 a.m.

According to police, the two cars stopped and the teens got out of the car. The Toyota then drove in reverse and hit them, pinning one of the girls underneath the car.

They were both taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in stable condition.

Police say both teens are documented gang members.
