Navy Pier parking for Fourth of July festivities reaches capacity

CHICAGO — Chicago’s Navy Pier has announced its parking has already reached capacity amid large crowds preparing for Fourth of July celebrations and fireworks.

The Navy Pier fireworks show is expected to begin at 9:30. Earlier Saturday the venue said those interested in attending the show should arrive early.

Travelers can still reach the pier via public transportation or walking.

There are three garages Navy Pier suggests drivers travel to that are nearby and offer discounts:

Grand Plaza Self Park at 540 N. State.

Ogden Plaza Self Park at 300 E. North Water St.

Millennium Lakeside Garage at 5 South Columbus.
