SKOKIE, Ill. — Bad news for people who use the Yellow Line.

The CTA told the Chicago Tribune the repairs are more complicated than they thought.

Service will remain suspended until October, as crews repair waste water treatment lines that were damaged when the tracks collapsed six weeks ago.

Crews are working six-days a week, for 12-hour shifts to rebuild the embankment to keep it secure.

The Yellow Line has been closed since May 17.
