3 Chicago Blackhawks welcomed babies during championship run

CHICAGO — Three Chicago Blackhawks welcomed babies during their 2015 Stanley Cup Run.

Blackhawks forward Kris Vergsteeg welcomed his first child with wife Brittany on June 2 just one day before Game 1. Jaxson James weighed in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces. WGN’s Robin Baumgarten loved this photo of Jaxson in the cup:

Defenseman Brent Seabrook and his wife Dayna welcomed Kenzie Belle to the world on Friday, June 19, four days after the Blackhawk’s big win. Kenzie, who has a big brother named Carter, weighed 8 pounds, 3 ounces.

Antonie Vermette and wife Karen welcomed their second child Emilia on Saturday, June 20. She weighed in 6 pounds, 12 ounces and has an older sister Leona.
