Tornadoes reported as severe weather whips through Chicagoland

A lengthy and dangerous round of severe weather swept across northern Illinois Monday night.

Several tornado warnings were issued throughout the night.

Extensive damage was reported in areas including Sterling, Sublette and Coal City.

Flooding is the main problem with flash flood warnings in effect through the night for several counties.
