Three charged in Lawndale fatal shooting

Three male juveniles were arrested in connection for the fatal shooting of 15-year-old Kimon De’Shon Wheeler on June 17th.

The juveniles approached Wheeler, who was with a group of youths on the 4100 block of west Cullerton and attempted to rob him.  When Wheeler turned to run he was shot in the back by the alleged offenders, according to Chicago police.

All three juveniles were charged with first degree murder, attempted armed-robbery, and discharge of a firearm/bodily harm.

The offenders will appear in Central Bond Court on Sunday June 21st
