CHICAGO — Where’s the Stanley Cup?
That’s the question of the moment in Chicago after the Blackhawks won their third championship on Monday night.
By Tuesday morning, the city’s hockey fans were posting on Twitter trying to find the trophy.
Fans posted their pictures with the Stanley Cup and messaged each other updates on where they think the trophy is and which player was hoisting it in jubilation.
The Cup was last seen after midnight leaving from Rockit Bar & Grill in River North.
Several players, including Patrick Kane, Jonathan Toews and Corey Crawford accompanied the Cup, and even showered fans with champagne.
Earlier in the night, the players and two busloads of people took the Cup to Tavern on Rush, where fans got a chance to snap pictures with the trophy.
The Blackhawks also took the Stanley Cup to the Cubs game at Wrigley Field.
Toews threw out the first pitch, as his teammates surrounded him on the mound.
Below is a recap of Tuesday's tour.
