VALENCIA, Calif. — A 10-year-old girl who had to be airlifted from a theme park in California after losing consciousness on a roller coaster has died, according to a report.
KTLA reports the girl, identified as Jasmine Martinez, lost consciousness Friday while riding a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif.
Paramedics arrived at the scene at around 4 p.m. local time Friday. She was transported to the hospital via helicopter, where she died Saturday.
According to KTLA it was unclear if the girl’s loss of consciousness was due to the ride or was because of a preexisting condition.
She was reportedly still breathing when she was taken to the hospital.
