Police release sketch of suspect in sexual assault, robbery

CHICAGO — Police release a sketch of a man who attacked a woman at gunpoint on the South Side.

The victim was walking in the 8800 block of South Crandon Avenue about 12:30 p.m. Friday, when the man forced her into a home then sexually assaulted and robbed her.

The attacker was described as a black man with a medium complexion, about 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark blue jeans, and black and red “Michael Jordan” gym shoes, police said.

A police sketch shows him with facial hair and wearing a ski mask.
