A night of heavy rain led to flooding that shut down several ramps in the Circle Exchange in downtown Chicago.

The ramp from the eastbound Interstate-290 Eisenhower Expressway to the outbound Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) Sunday morning.

Most of I-94 and its exits were shut down near the Jane Byrne Interchange overnight due to the flooding, but as of 9 a.m. only the Eisenhower ramp remained closed.

The National Weather Service says parts of the Chicago area saw between 1.5 to 2 inches of rain from Saturday night into Sunday.

More rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast for Sunday night.
