Teen who escaped youth detention center in St. Charles captured
ST. CHARLES, Ill. — Authorities have captured a teen who had escaped from a youth detention center in St. Charles, Ill.
A spokesman for the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice said Denzell Walker, 19, was been apprehended “without incident” by the Department of Correction’s Apprehension Unit and the United States Marshall Service Great Lakes Task Force shortly after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities were searching for Walker, who they say escaped from Illinois Youth center in St. Charles on Monday night.
