CHICAGO -- Most Blackhawks fans will be watching tonight’s game with friends in a living room or local watering hole.

Most of us are not willing to shell out the big bucks needed to get a ticket to the United Center, even for standing room only.

Early on at the U.C. today there was a quiet buzz. Fans who will not make it inside tonight stopped by just to be a part of the action.

But over at Gold Coast Tickets there was a flurry of activity.

Standing room was gone by noon today and cheap seats will cost you $600. Ice seats have known to go well over $10,000.

Some fans looked for tickets on Craigslist. Some tickets there were going for $500 for two. But brokers say it can be risky business – but worth it to some.

What else could you do with that money? WGN’s Amy Rutledge asked around.
