4-year-old girl shot in head on South Side released from hospital

CHICAGO -- The 4-year-old girl who was shot in the head last month was released from the hospital this morning.

She will be taken by ambulance to Minnesota.  Her mother had just signed a lease for a home there before the incident.

Jacele Johnson was wounded in the head on May 22 during a gang-related shooting in Englewood.

She was outside with her cousin when someone in a passing car opened fire and shot them both.
