*The Orioles have won five straight against the White Sox.

* Chris Sale is scheduled to take the hill for Chicago in Game 1 today, looking for his fourth straight 8-inning start.

* Jose Abreu is batting .294 with two homers, four RBI and an OPS of 1.039 in four career games vs. the O’s at Camden Yards.

* The White Sox won, 5-3, in Toronto yesterday, snapping their four-game losing streak. That said, outscoring opponents on the road has not been Chicago’s strong suit in 2015 with a -40 road run differential.

*The White Sox have used a defensive shift on just 118 batters this season – third fewest in the AL (through May 26). The O’s have used a shift 265 times in 2015 (sixth most in MLB). Chris Davis of the O’s has seen a shift in 164 plate appearances – tied for the most times with David Ortiz.
