CHICAGO — A dog that was stolen from an apartment in the West Loop has been found.

The West Highland Terrier named Barnaby was dropped off at an animal shelter on Wednesday.

Surveillance video showed a man taking the dog from its home near Lake and Canal last week.

The dog’s owner says someone thought they spotted the same man at a pet supplies store, and tried to take his picture.

Soon after, the dog turned up.
