Cubs Game Notes For Sunday @ Arizona

* The Cubs have hit at least one home run in each of their last nine games versus the Diamondbacks. However, the home runs have not led to wins. The Cubs are just 3-6 versus the Diamondbacks during the streak.

* The Cubs have hit 25 home runs in 21 road games this season, compared to 16 home runs in 21 home games.

* Kris Bryant has hit safely in each of his last 12 games. Bryant’s current hit streak matches the longest by a rookie this season (teammate Addison Russell had a 12-game hit streak from April 26 – May 9). Bryant is batting .349 during the streak, raising his batting average from .247 to .282 in the process.

* Jason Hammel owes a lot of his early-season success to the fact that he has struck out many more batters than he has walked, averaging 8.17 strikeouts per walk this season (49/6).
