Firefighters save puppies from house fire, aid them tiny oxygen masks

PALM COAST, Fla. -After a fire started inside a home, two people and six dogs were rescued from inside the building.

According to flagerlive.com, a father and his young daughter were hospitalized for smoke inhalation after a fire started at 10:40 Tuesday morning.

Six dogs, two of which were puppies, were rescued from the house when Flagler County Sheriff’s deputy Steve Williams was informed firefighters of the dogs’ presence, flaglerlive.com reports.

Flaglerlive.com reports that Flagler County Fire Rescue’s David Lawrence administered oxygen to the two puppies with masks specially designed for house pets after they came out looking sluggish.

No major injuries were reported in the fire.
