LEVITTOWN, Penn. -- Some people at a party in Levittown, Pennsylvania got an unpleasant surprise from the sky.

There were about 40 guests swimming and playing horseshoes in the yard at a Sweet 16 birthday gathering.

Out of nowhere, something disgusting began to rain down on the party.

It was human waste.

Human feces was falling from the sky, out of an airplane bathroom.

"We just got done with cake thank God, we took the cake back in, because within two minutes, something fell from the sky, it was brown, it was everywhere, it got on everything," party guest, Kristie Rogy said.

Luckily, a canopy helped shield most of the party guests.

The FAA is investigating the incident.

Regulations require planes to dispose of waste at an airport, not while flying over a residential area.

I hope they get compensation at least to get the yard cleaned up and sanitized for the family. My prayers go out to the family and their guests. That will be one party not soon forgotten.

a.) Why does the woman have purple fingernails? Seriously lady, it’s 2015.

b.) I recommend taking the CEO and board of directors of the offending airline and dumping s–t on them. I guarantee you, this will never happen again. But — of course — we can’t do that in “America,” can we. Because owners of companies aren’t responsible for the s–t their companies pull. Thanks, ‘Murica!

Answer to (b): there will be nobody to take to court over this, unless you want the family to sue a flock of bird. The tank that holds waste can NOT be dumped while in flight. This family is just trying to get media attention, for whatever reason.

Sometimes, very rarely, (disinfected) waste can leave the airplane in solid form (because it freezes) known as “blue ice”. Blue ice can be deadly or destructive if it hits something (including the airplane itself), but if the airplane is leaking waste in any form, there is a bigger problem. As its name implies, blue ice is blue and frozen because of the disinfectant it uses. Airplanes today have no way of disposing of waste willingly in the air.

This is concerning – not because some mischievous airline company allowed such a jet to dump waste over a residential area but because there simply isn’t an airplane capable of doing that. The last airliner that featured a overboard-style lavatory was the Ford Trimotor – a thing of the 1920-30s. The FAA can investigate, but it won’t be from an airliner.

Some journalistic integrity would be useful here. There is not a commercial aircraft in production that even has the capability to release waste while in flight. There is likely a natural explanation–large bird or something. But airliners’ waste storage systems cannot be dumped while in flight. It simply cannot happen. Smaller aircraft (non-airliners) don’t have toilets to begin with, so unless a pilot of a small plane made a mess on himself and opened his window….

i am sorry if it was from a plane it would be frozen from the temp up there 2nd if it did come from a pane it would be gone at speeds that could cause a lot of harm and could make impact spots. i think this is a lets claim this happen will get on the new and be famous

This is completely untrue. dont believe a word of this stupid story.
waste from an airplane isnt brown its blue . they would never dump the lavs over a land and i believe all updated airline have taken out the flush mechanism.

Well, that was a birthday gift she didn’t ask for. I wonder what happened though? Did the family get compensated? And what in the world was going through the minds of the one who allowed the feces to be dumped over when the rules specifically say it should be done in the airport. I hope whoever made that choice or allowed that choice to happen got fired or at least suspended for a while or something.
