CPS headquarters moving to smaller offices to save money

A data breach in the Chicago Public School system may have allowed the personal information of 4,000 students to get out in the open.

CPS admits it shared the students’ names, addresses, phone numbers and even more personal information with five vendors seeking school contracts.

The vendors say they’ve now destroyed those records.
