Southeast winds 8-15 mph keep readings cooler along the Illinois lake shore.

Sporadic thunderstorms impact 50-60 percent of the area but also many rain-free hours.

Breezy warm and humid overnight with a thunderstorm or two possible.

Lows hold in the middle 60s.
