CHICAGO -- Mayor Emanuel is coming up with a plan to help prevent violence in the city during the summer months.

The renewed city initiative is a focus on summer anti-violence programs with a concerted effort by churches.

City leaders said a variety of programs are making a difference. But they agaee that keeping crime is a challenge during summer months.

So far, the number of murders has already topped 130 this year.

Mayor Emanuel again expressed displeasure with the title of the new Spike Lee movie, "Chiraq" --despite Lee's message yesterday that the goal of the movie is to help decrease deadly crime.
