CHICAGO -- Chicago will be home to the Obama library; that announcement is expected tomorrow. What we don't know is exactly where.

Some wonder what impact it will have on the surrounding neighborhoods, good and bad.

Impact is the big word: What will the presidential library mean for those who are already here and those who will likely come once it's built.

For now, it's a tale of two parks: Jackson, in Woodlawn, and Washington Park. Both sites flank the University of Chicago. Both could be the new home of the Obama presidential library.

Whichever site is picked, it does stand to get a lot of investment. Fundraising efforts alone estimates alone for the Obama library are upwards of half a billion dollars.
