CHICAGO — Chicago Bear Ray McDonald is suing a woman for defamation after she said he sexually assaulted her.

McDonald has not been charged.

But now the woman filed a motion to dismiss McDonald’s lawsuit, thanks to her attorney Gloria Allred.

Allred says the McDonald suit is only an attempt to punish, and suppress, her client for going to police.

The woman’s complaint claims the woman lost consciousness after she slipped and fell on McDonald’s pool deck on December 14, 2014.

She says there is video of McDonald and his former teammate, Ahmad Brooks, groping and molesting her.

The woman claims McDonald thought she was dead and that he didn’t want to call 911 because he didn’t want a dead woman found on his property.

She also says McDonald carried her to a bedroom and had non-consensual sex with her.

McDonald has said the sex he had with the woman that day, and the next day, was consensual.

He is currently under a one year contract with the Chicago Bears.
