Man carjacked, shot while sitting in van at gas station on West Side

CHICAGO — A man was carjacked and shot as he sat in his van at a gas station on the West Side.

It happened at 11:30 p.m. Sunday at a gas station on South Independence just south the Eisenhower Expressway.

The victim says a man walked up to his van with gun, ordered him out, stole cash from his pockets and then shot him in the leg.

The suspect was last seen driving off in the victim’s van.

    Do as I doi have a big can of WASP spray that can shoot up to 25 feet in my hand if anybody decides to come close to my car or family I spray them with it. You cannot wash it off you must go to the hospital
