2 boys hospitalized after being hit by car in Humboldt Park

CHICAGO — Two boys have been hospitalized after they were hit by a car on the West Side Sunday morning, police said.

The boys, ages 6 and 7, were crossing the street near Division and Pulaski in Humboldt Park at 11 a.m. when they were struck, officials said. They were taken to Stroger Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver stayed at the scene after the accident and was taken into custody for a traffic violation, police said.
