Cubs Lose Series Finale to Pirates

The Cubs are on their first losing streak of the season after Thursday’s 5-4 loss to the Pirates.

The Cubs took a 4-1 lead into the 6th inning but gave up three runs in the 6th and Gregory Polanco’s RBI single in the 7th proved to be the winning run.

Jorge Soler and Kris Bryant were a combined 0 for 5 with four strikeouts, Addison Russell did get his first career RBI when he doubled home a run in the 4th.

The Cubs will be in Cincinnati for a three game series over the weekend.  Jon Lester will be on the mound Friday night.
