Bond set for $1M in CTA assault, robbery

CHICAGO – Bond was set for a million dollars for a teen accused of raping and robbing a woman on a CTA train.

Deshawn Isabelle appeared before a judge today and was charged as an adult, even though he is only 15-years-old.

Police credit surveillance cameras with helping to track down the suspect.

Prosecutors say Isabelle attacked a woman Monday on a Blue Line train, sexually assaulted her, stole her cash and phone, then got off at the Cicero stop and ran.
