A man in the United Kingdom took to Twitter to complain that he found a live mouse in a load of bread he bought at the store.
Andrew Odell reportedly bought the bread at an Aldi store. He tweeted to the company a picture of the mouse in the bread.
The tweet was retweeted thousands of times and the story was picked up by The Daily Mail.
Aldi UK replied asking Andrew to contact them. Andrew said his wife had done so and was given a reference number.
The company tweeted “customer safety is our priority.” They stated they we’re looking into this incident “as a matter of urgency.”
