Domestic dispute leads to car crash, dead pedestrian

CHICAGO -- It started with a domestic dispute, and ended with an innocent pedestrian dead.

At approximately 3 a.m. Sunday morning On Garfield Boulevard in Englewood, a 32-year-old woman was driving, chasing another car.

The man she was fighting with was a passenger in that car. Another man was behind the wheel.

Witnesses say she rammed the vehicle from behind, striking two parked cars along the way.

The out-of-control vehicle struck another car and a pedestrian.

The 53-year-old man was pronounced dead at Stroger Hospital.

The two men inside the car the woman first hit were hurt. Their injuries were not life threatening.

Charges are now pending against that female driver.
