Passover began at sundown Friday

Sundown on Friday marked the start of Passover.

The eight-day Jewish Holiday commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from Egyptian slavery.

It doesn't happen often, but the Holy Holidays of Passover and Easter overlap this year.

The President and First Lady hosted a Passover Seder in the Old Family Dining Room of the White House on Friday evening.
