There's an outbreak of Canine influenza in the Chicago area, and it's far more serious than Kennel Cough. So far, hundreds of dogs have been affected. If not treated properly, the virus can be deadly.

Dr. Natalie Marks of Blum Animal Hospital shared some advice for dog owners on WGN Morning News.

Appreciate Dr. Marks’ comments and information however I would like to ask her, “Where is the “er”? She is a vet-ER-in-arian, not a vet-in-arian. She mispronounced her profession more than once and I am appalled!

They came out two days ago saying this strain of flu is from asia… and can be transmitted to cats. working on a vaccine for this strain of flu… call your vet if you aren’t sure because news is still coming out on all this. the new strain ends with a 2 and not an 8 like they thought.
